Septic Service Built for How This Valley Actually Works

Fraser Valley Septic covers pumping, inspections, repairs, drain field work and new installations for rural properties from Langley to Agassiz. Prices are confirmed before the truck rolls, sludge levels are measured at every visit, and every job ends with a written record. Regulated work runs through an Authorized Person under BC's Sewerage System Regulation.

Why does septic service run on trust?

Septic service is a trust business. The customer cannot see the work, rarely understands the system, and has no easy way to check whether the truck that just left did a complete job or half of one. Everything about how we operate follows from taking that seriously:

  • Prices before trucks. You get a clear price on the phone or in writing before anything is dispatched, and site surprises are discussed before they become invoice surprises.
  • Measurements, not vibes. Sludge and scum levels are measured and recorded at every pump-out, so your service interval is based on your tank's actual behaviour.
  • Both compartments, every time. Plus baffles checked, because a $200 baffle protects a $20,000 field.
  • Written records after every visit. What we found, what we did, what comes next. Your future self, and your future buyer, will thank you.
  • No fear selling. If a $400 repair solves it, that is the recommendation. Big-ticket advice always comes with the evidence that justifies it.

How does BC regulate this work?

Construction, alteration and substantive repair are reserved for an Authorized Person, and the work is filed with Fraser Health. Onsite wastewater in British Columbia is governed by the Sewerage System Regulation under the Public Health Act. The regulation reserves system construction, alteration and substantive repair for an Authorized Person, meaning a Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioner (ROWP) or a professional engineer, with filings made to Fraser Health for this region. All work we arrange is carried out in accordance with that framework, and part of our job is telling you plainly which category your work falls into and what paperwork should exist at the end of it.
